 Mike is a co-founder of the Meron's Expos, having left the Hockey Plus Padres to pursue the expansion of the CVBL to eight teams following the 2007 season.  Prior to his stint with the Padres, Mike broke into the CVBL with the Tupper Lake Tremors, moving on to the CR Tunes Mudhens upon that team's dissolution.  Mike also serves the league in an administrative capacity.

Mike is deeply involved in North Country baseball at all levels.  In addition to his CVBL duties, Mike umpires for the Plattsburgh Little League, coaches a Plattsburgh Babe Ruth team, and assists as pitching coach for Plattsburgh State, where he spent four seasons as a pitcher himself.

Mike spends his time off the field as a fourth-generation owner of Meron's Restaurant in Plattsburgh, one of the primary sponsors of the Expos.  He enjoys collecting sports memorabilia, warm weather, casual food and spirits.
